DAC

Direct Air Capture (DAC) is the process of extracting carbon dioxide (CO2) directly from the atmosphere where it can be repurposed or stored securely underground instead of being released into our atmosphere. This occurs through chemical processes designed to sequester the CO2. Despite ongoing efforts to reduce carbon emissions, existing CO2 levels in the atmosphere continue to contribute to the warming of the planet. DAC technology has come into the spotlight as a promising solution in our efforts to combat climate change.
