Who Are We?
WEGTC is a student run club focused on the research and creation of technologies that will help fight climate change. We are passionate about reducing emissions and creating a healthy and sustainable future.
The focus of our first year is the design and building of a direct air capture device and compete at NYU’s Carbon Removal Challenge. We also perform research projects on topics related to green technology and present our findings to the club. These are then linked to industry nights allowing our members to see real world applications of these technologies and how they can become involved after their education.
